So long...so much food

So I've been off the blogging for a VERY long time now and have TONS of new recipes and food photos, but I'm feeling really lazy and don't want to post all the recipes, so heres a quick sum up of the past months food, LOL!

Monday- 4/28/2008

I had a WONDERFUL time in Memphis this past weekend but I have to say that the food was a little skimpy....as everyone knows the south is known for BBQ, BBQ, BBQ so I pretty much lived off of fruit cups and oatmeal that I had packed thank goodness. However, I weighed and did lose 4 pounds...crazy!!

Breakfast- bowl of raisin bran with hemp milk

Lunch- ezekial tortilla filled with refried black beans, a bit of grilled asparagus and a HUGE fruit bowl of strawberries, pineapple, banana, kiwi and mango

Wednesday 4/23/2008

Breakfast- Barbaras bakery shredded oats and hemp milk, and 1/2 a grapefruit

Snack- a banana cookie larabar and dried cranberries

Lunch- A big salad topped with EVOO, balsamic vinegar, kidney beans, sunflower seeds, tomatoes and brocolli

Dinner- Amy's canned soup- southwestern fire roasted vegetables and Annie's honey crackers (they taste just like teddy grahams but are WAY better for you)

I'm off to Memphis so I wont be posting too much!!!

HAPPY EARTH DAY!!

For Earth day, RY Shandon and I ate all raw for the day. It was so much fun!

Breakfast- my typical green smoothie and a big bowl of cut up strwaberries, pineapple, blueberries and apples

Snack- a trail mix of cashews, almonds, walnuts, goji berries, dried cranberries and cacoa nibs

Lunch- A salad topped with raw balsamic vinegar dressing from The Thrive Diet...4 cup hemp oil, 1 cup balsamic vinegar, 3 cloves garlic, with shredded carrots, brocolli and tomatoes...a mango fruit smoothie and another bowl of fruit

Dinner- Walnut tacos from rawvolution topped with homemade salsa and guacmole

Dessert- Sarmas strawberry tarts from carol Alts Raw 50

Monday 4/21/2008

Breakast- oatmeal with honey, cinnamon, bananas and wild blueberries and a cup of green tea


Snack- a cliff cacao walnut bar that I got free some yesterdays earth day festival in Santa Monica

Lunch- Amys pasta and 3 bean soup with a heated up flour tortilla from Trader Joes

Dinner- steamed veggies and ezekial pita pizza topped with hummus, pesto, spinach and olives



Workout- one hour of yoga

Sunday- 4/20/2008

Today Ryan and I went to Santa Monica for the day, and they were having an apple music festival and it was nuts! Hippie, earth-conscious people EVERYWHERE! It was awesome!

Breakfast- we drank a green smoothie in the car on the way there and I cut up some fruit to eat once we got there (it was only a 40 minute drive)

Snack- We went to Wild Oats so I could get a few things for my Memphis trip this weekend and I got a vegan poppy seed cookie to eat as we shopped

Lunch- EUPHORIA LOVES RAWVOLUTION!! Yes, we finally went to rawvolution- the vegan, raw restaurant in Santa Monica. I was so giddy and ordered the italiano pizza, creamy taco salad, marinated greens salad and had some of Ryan mushroom burger. We drank goji berry lemonade which was wonderful and a green juice that I HATED, it had cucumbers in it and was SO gross, LOL! Dessert was a chocolate cookie dough ball and an apple raisin cookie.

Dinner-no dinner, out lunch was HUGE

Dessert- air popped popcorn with some olive oil spray and salt. About 1 hour I got hungry (probably because i skipped dinner) and had some cinnamon raisin ezekiel toast with my new raw walnut butter that I got at Rawvolution. YUM!

Workout- walking around all day for a good 6 hours

Saturday- 4/19/2008

Breakfast- a few bites of oatmeal waffles that I made Ryan, we ran out of oats and I couldn't make enough for both of us so I took one for the team and let him have them (only because he went on a 30 mile bike ride this morning), grapefruit, a banana and some more spinach and kale chips, LOL (they're addicting)

Lunch- I got Ryan vegetarian teriyaki chicken from Lassens which is a local health/grocery store that has a lil cafe in it and I munched on that for lunch. It was a busy day so I didn't eat much more.

Dinner- I made a mushroom and carmelized onion burger. The recipe was for grilled mushrooms from Vegan With A Vengeance in a ciabatta roll with spinach, carmelized onions, avocado, tomatoes and Annies goddess dressing.

Dessert- Almost an entire bag of sea salt and vinegar kettle chips
